Meet the Owner

Under new ownership at the end of 2018, Jeff’s carrying on the local bike legacy from the original owner in Ventura.

Jeff fell in love with cycling when he left the Navy as a former rescue swimmer and crew chief. He ran his first bike shop in 1996 and by now has a bit of bike oil in his veins.

He's lived and breathed bikes working for KHS, Specialized and multiple other bike shops from Orange County to Washington State.
Jeff and his team at Open Air Bicycles know that the bike business can be confusing and they look forward to helping you decipher it.
